My Twitter Butler

Grow on X by hand, by the rules

About My Twitter Butler

My Twitter Butler is a small, independent site for people who want to grow on X without handing their account to a bot. It has two parts: a free daily routine planner that turns your goals and niche into a short checklist, and a set of guides on the rules, the etiquette and the slow habits that actually build an audience.

What the butler does, and what it doesn't

A good butler prepares things and gets out of the way. The planner works the same way. It suggests how many posts to reply to today, writes the X searches that find conversations in your niche, reminds you to keep your best contacts in a private list, and gives you a writing prompt. Then you open X and do the work yourself.

It never logs in to your account, never asks for your password or an API key, and never follows, likes, replies or posts on your behalf. Nothing you type is sent to us. Your choices and ticks are kept in your own browser so the plan is waiting for you tomorrow.

Why by hand

The name goes back to this domain's early years, when "Twitter butler" apps that followed people automatically were common. Those tools are now against X's rules. The automation rules prohibit automated following and unfollowing, automated likes, and automated replies triggered by keyword searches, and the platform manipulation policy treats follow churn and bulk following as spam. Accounts that rely on such tools get limited, locked or suspended, as we explain in why auto-follow apps get accounts suspended.

The good news is that doing it by hand works better anyway. Twenty minutes a day of real replies to the right people will outgrow almost any automated follower count, and the followers stay.

Who we are

The guides are written by the My Twitter Butler Team, a few people who have grown niche accounts on X for small businesses, side projects and themselves. We write about what we do, date every guide, and revise them when X changes a rule or a limit. When something depends on a policy that may change, we say so and point to X's own help pages.

We don't sell growth services, followers or engagement, there are no ads or affiliate links, and nobody pays to be mentioned.

History of the domain

The site was relaunched in 2026 under new, independent management. It has no connection to earlier owners of this domain or to any app that once ran under this name, and it doesn't continue or support any of their services.
